• Decline in headline inflation may bring positive sentiment to the market, but we should look into the core inflation as well so we really know if overall inflation status of the country is truly declining.
• We may have registered net foreign selling of P54.3bn last 2018, but considering that we have net foreign buying of P54.7bn and P2.3bn last 2017 and 2016, respectively, we can say that the foreigners haven’t totally left the country yet.
• In entering an IPO, the prospectus is a very important document. You can look at the company’s earnings growth and potential, the status of the industry in which the company is involved in, and its price valuation whether it is cheap or not at the offer price.
